Why I Joined The Blockchain Ecosystem Powered by CrowdPoint

I am Fareed Kuhafa, a MicroPreneur from Ontario, Canada. I am interested in medical & financial freedom, health & wellness, finance, real estate, nature, universal laws, and spirituality.

One of my concerns when I shop online, is that I have to share my personal data. Therefore, I constantly make an effort to give as little information as possible. Because of this reason, I prefer visiting a store in person to make my purchases than purchasing online.

With the recent COVID lockdowns and restrictions, it has become more difficult to visit stores in person for many of us. As a result, I have spent more on online purchases in 2020 and 2021 than any previous year. I am sure this is the same with many of you. My personal data like name, address, date-of-birth, credit-card information are my major concerns. Unfortunately, there was not much I could do to protect them, except hope my data would not be used or stolen by bad actors.

I have heard many unfortunate incidences happened to many people. From data breaches, malware, hackers, to even some popular websites harvesting your data, identity, and preferences. As well as selling it to 3rd party businesses. Yes, they are making money from your information without even letting you know. You are under constant surveillance because your information is so valuable. It is the new oil.

So, when I heard about The Blockchain Ecosystem, I got very excited. I joined them immediately because I wanted to learn more. It is truly more secure than all Centralized systems, which are vulnerable to hackers, data breaches, malware, and surveillance.
