Why I Joined The Blockchain Ecosystem Powered by CrowdPoint

Ever since I can remember, the four major goals to achieve success that was preached to me by my parents was:
1. To get a good education
2. To get good grades
3. Get a college degree
4. Find a job with benefits.

As a first-generation Filipino American living in the United States and being first on my father’s side of the family to receive a college degree in this country, it was quite an accomplishment. However, I soon came to find the hard-cold truth, that I was made for more than just working a 9 to 5 job. It was secure and safe, but deep down inside I knew I was destined for more.

This is why I decided to enter the journey of MicroPreneurship. Jim Rohn said, “The major value in life is not what you get. The major value in life is what you become.” The pathway serves more than myself and making money. My business is to add value for customers with high-quality products and to help them protect their Human Identity by entering into the Blockchain.

The fact of the matter is we live in a digital age called Surveillance Capitalism, in which our personal data (names, addresses, whatever we post on social media, purchasing patterns, Google searches) is all being tracked, sold, and utilized by corporations for profit-making purposes.

Quite a scary thought, but there is a solution in which we can turn the tides. No more companies profiting from our personal data, but, we can actually profit ourselves! How, you might ask? The answer is through Blockchain technology, specifically through the CrowdPoint Exchange. The bottom line is that it’s all about protecting your privacy and giving the power back to the people to whom it belongs.
